Ever think you hate a topic...that it's the most boring subject in the world and then you're forced to read something on that Godforsaken subject and you just want to shoot yourself. Yet a few minutes later, you find yourself immersed in the article, intrigued by the theme that you forget all about your distaste for that particular topic and when you remember, you feel all foolish for hating it in the first place? Yea, I know how that feels except I didn't feel any of that today. No siree Bob. No today, I was all eyes and ears during Blair's Journalism class. I was attentive despite the fact that I had already learned most of what was being taught because that's what you do when you want something. In this case, I want to be the best in the journalism sect of HL and to be the best, you have to be open to learning. So even though I hate tennis, I gritted my teeth when i was handed the article about a tennis player and read on. As it turns out, the article about up and coming tennis phenomenon, Ana Ivanoic, and her quest to rise above the troubles of her homeland and be the best was actually very interesting. And i reviewed key points about stories and worked with my group.
Not bad for a day's work so yay Blair lol:)
