HueMan Shield

So yesterday was quite interesting. It seems like all the members of our group are never here at the same time but yesterday, there were fewer accidents. We did some basic work like essay's and profiles for a few hours. We had stories lined up but unfortunately, one fell through. As we're about to leave to cover another story, Sely comes out with this man names Antawn who would be conducting a lesson on journalism. At first I was disappointed because I thought that I wouldn't be able to stay for it but it got worked out. The lesson was a bit challenging yet still fun. When we're dismissed, my teammates and I run off to HueMan bookstores to cover a book signing. We were all excited because we thought Talib Kweli would be there but he didn't show. However, Byron Hurt was there which was really cool because I studied his documentary on hip-hop in school for weeks and wrote a paper on it. So that was cool that I got to meet him and I got to ask a question to the contributors in the book which was awesome. So the book signing went well.

We got back later than expected and there were still many things to do. I ended up staying @ HL until about half past ten. The important thing is that the work got done. I think once our presentation will be awesome and it will let the other teams know that we are MAJOR competition. Whatever changes come, I embrace them and hope that all goes well.

OMG!!! Last night, I decided to walk to the D train so I could get home earlier and while walking, I ran into my worst nightmare, RATS!!!!!!! I almost cried, I was so scared. Never again, I'm sticking to the 2 train.
