"Take It in Strides"

What a busy day so far! So like the rest of most of America's teens I am working for the summer...correction, I am working and also interning at HL. So far it has been good. I feel I am starting to warm up to people but everybody at HL can be the judge. I had to come to realization I am a loner who wants to work in an industry that asks for collaboration. Long story short...I need to get my networking skills together.

Otherwise I enjoy HARLEMLive and what it does for teens and young adults across the city, including me. I need to give the warming up thing some more time. Enjoy HL, hope HL enjoys me.

On a more positive note, I am excited for an event that is coming up sponsored by Kevin Powell, who is the Democratic Candidate for Congressman. Not only will he be there but bell hooks, Cornel West, and some other notably figures in the minority community. Wish me good luck!

Also I would love to get more info about the event and take a video person (videographer), photographer, and possibly another Journalist so we can all experience an event that will change our future.

I'll get at the rest of HL when i get more updates and give y'all info about people coming to help me out.
